About ALRHA
Our Origin
ALRHA was born from a love for long-range hunting and educating the community about ethical long-range hunting.
Our Unique Format
The ALRHA format is unique, starting at the furthest distance and progressing closer.
Two Main Classes
There are two main classes, Varmint and Hunter.
Both shot from the prone position, with a bipod.
Varmint Class
Varmint class starts the day off with a cold bore shot at a life size Jackal gong, at a range of 700m.
Varmint is an individual class, for the lone Jackal (Read Wolf).
Minimum distance: 300m
Hunter Class
Hunter is a team class, starting the day off with a cold bore shot at a life size springbuck front quarter gong, ranged at 1km.
Minimum distance: 400m
The Purpose
This format was created, and kept true until now, to simulate a real life cold bore long range hunting condition.
No sighting in, with one chance per match to win the cold bore cap and become a part of the few whom have achieved this goal.
